Often we hear that phrase Money makes the world go 'round.
And it does (not literally, of course)!
Everything comes with a dollar sign. We all know that.
School, books, cars, house, toys, phones, AIR!
Alright, maybe not air; however, with how life seems to be now, it wouldn't be surprising once air is being purchased in a little bottle container.
Speaking with a good yet very distraught friend, it has come to my attention that it is immensely difficult to achieve goals without money, like furthering their education. As time flies by, the prices for a higher education becomes too costly. For those who are in a financial struggle (including myself), they will find it or even consider it to be a hopeless goal to achieve. Usually, such negativity creates delay that the individual ends up taking years of work to be able to finish their school because of money issues.
A quick example would be me. As a fellow global citizen trying to get by life, my education has been put to a halt for quite some time due to personal reasons. It's been a few years since I have formally been in a college classroom to learn more about my major. And within those years, I felt the weight of money problems beginning to lay on my shoulders. Try as I might to save money for my education; however, unexpected obstacles always occurs, delaying me even more. There are times when I wanted to give up and forget about going to school to get my degree. My focus had altered into something that even I never imagined: to just work and move my way up in a company. I got discouraged at the hardships and fact that I couldn't and still can't afford school. After talking with my friend, my motives has changed.
Though many obstacles led me astray, I would like to share what I have told my friend with you readers and myself:
Don't be discouraged by the amount for no knowledge worth obtaining can be labeled with a pricing gun.
If one truly wants to further their education and get a higher degree for better opportunities, possibilities are endless for there are ways to get there.
Don't be terrified.
If 50 year old people can enroll back in school and get their stuff done, why can't anyone at this age? Don't be discouraged because of past or present problems. Look towards the future and always keep looking.
This goes for any goals one comes up with.
The first step is always the scariest, but it is also the most worthy.
GOOD LUCK!
