Absolute Blankness

You're unsure of your next actions.

You feel lost.

At times you just have no idea if the feeling of uncertainty is caused by fear, confusion, insecurities...

You just feel...blank.
Being in absolute blankness can create unimaginable amount of stress without being aware from the beginning. For some, it could cause or create a sense of helplessness since one is skeptical with what they want to do with their lives or what the next step is.

Giving it some thought, I can't help but feel like this lately.
To be quite honest, it's an alarming sense of indecisiveness and lack of confidence about anything anymore.

What could be the result of absolute blankness?

Though I failed to realize ahead of time, I believe it causes a certain level of depression, leading to just pure laziness, self pity, and some occasions: suicide. It is a very drastic thought indeed.

Although I, myself, am going through this, I do believe there are ways to overcome this dreadful feeling.

Hang out with friends. Being with friends can help eliminate or cease the feeling of being blank and unsure of what you want to do. Perhaps their decisions in life, their goals would help motivate you to figure out what you want to do and where you want to be in life.
Backtrack on what your old goals were. Looking back to old goals that you've made helps restart your way of thinking. It can bring back memories of why you wanted to reach such goals in the first place. This can help making new goals to achieve.
Set up new goals no matter how small. Believe it or not, small goals can help with the bigger picture. It probably will not reveal the true meaning of what you'd like to do but it can certainly lead to such self discovery. The more you are able to achieve small goals (i.e. like taking out the trash or saving $10 every check you get), the more likely you will be able to keep the ball rolling to bigger goals.
Find something productive to do. Take up sports, go hiking, do something to let yourself breathe. All the stress from not being able to decide what to do won't go away quickly but it's better than staying at home or feeling sorry for yourself hating the world than doing something about it. Who knows? You just might end up finding something you love to do for the rest of your life!

These are just some thoughts I could come up with but I take it there can be more.

I just think it's time to take this absolute blankness and fill it with something amazing.
